I searched around, installed about 3 different other Media Players, removed all of them again, and eventually ended up with that Codec package called something with bb. I have been playing around with WMP a couple of weeks ago when i tried to view a bunch of Sony HD Videos that gave me a hard time on WMP because it would not play them initially.

Just done the new profile creation right now, so not yet tested a long run, but while going through the various panels of the SETTINGS i went into that 'running processes' panel and had a little look what i have in there (never looked at it as i do not know what i could change in there without interfering or totally disabling FF?)ДЄnd than 8 (eight!) positions all related to Windows Media Player! If that is not the case, what can be done to stabilize at least one of them so i can use it without 19th century crashes all the times?

anyway, i stumbled upon an MS page that tells me get IE 9, so i want to download that - yet, it tells me then 'you need to update your Operating System, we recommend Windows 7' - Okay, it's all Microsoft, they sure want to move their stuff off the shelfs, but i now ask myself if this is maybe the entire problem i have with the 2 Mozi browsers (but they never asked for another Operating system before downloading) is that my OS is outdated in relation to the latest versions? Since FF6 comes with a billion of 'personas' and i found one i really like (and i anyway prefer Mozi browsers over the rest of the pest) i thought i might just look around for skins for IE. Today i finally decided to get back on using pesky little IE8, just to see if it crashes on me too - it did not! I use FF also for other web browsing, and there too, all of a sudden end of the road, cursor won't move anywhere anymore, only restart of Win XP possible. I am still on a Windows XP computer but i use FF 6 as well as SeaMonkey 2.3.1, hence the latest version of both Mozy browsers.Д«oth browsers now, after updating both to the latest versions, keep on freezing when i am busy in Gmail.

This is a terrible situation, and i need to find out why because i hate to switch to IE or Chrome.
